Jammu, Jul 21 (PTI) In view of numerous complaints against various nursing homes operating in Jammu, J-K health minister Sham Lal Sharma has directed the health department to notify a list of registere
d nursing homes in the area within two days. He asked Director Health Services to conduct inspections at all these institutions to ensure strict adherence to norms. The minister also directed closure of all institutions including Ultrasound clinics operating clandestinely in Jammu division within fortnight. The minister said this while addressing Chief Medical Officers (CMOs)/Medical Superintendents, Block Medical Officers (BMOs) and other senior doctors of Jammu division after inaugurating a 7-day workshop in hospital administration organised by the Director Health Services, Jammu at Gandhi Nagar Hospital here last evening. In his brief address, Director Health Services, Jammu Jasbir Singh said that more such workshops would be organised after small intervals for the benefit of the doctors.
