Final cricket test against Pakistan at Sinhalese Sports Club

COLOMBO (AP): Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara won the toss Monday and elected to field first in the third and final cricket test against Pakistan at Sinhalese Sports Club.
Sri Lanka brought in veteren seamer Chaminda Vaas for his farewell test at the expense of out-of-form spinner Ajantha Mendis. Legspinner Danish Kaneria replaced fast bowler Abdur Rauf who played for Pakistan in the second test. Sri Lanka leads the series 2-0.

Sri Lanka: Kumar Sangakkara (captain), Malinda Warnapura, Tharanga Paranavitana, Mahela Jayawardene, Thilan Samaraweera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Anjelo Mathews, Chaminda Vaas, Thilan Thushara, Rangana Herath and Nuwan Kulasekera.
Pakistan: Younis Khan (captain), Khurram Manzoor, Mohammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Aamer, Danish Kaneria and Fawad Alam.
Umpires: Ian Gould, England, and Simon Taufel, Australia.
